The middle of Indianapolis is a traffic circle with a large memorial to Hoosiers (they really call themselves that) who died in various wars.

The Lafayette Brewing company doesn't make IPA anymore, so John had the Eighty Five.

I took a picture in the bathroom mirror at the Lafayette Brewing Company, a microbrewery in quaint downtown Lafayette that John introduced me to.

We took a twenty-four foot Ryder truck.

Riding to Bible study this evening, I was struck by the brick red chimneys of the physical plant contrasting against the deep blue post-storm sky. My fifteen dollar camera failed disastrously to capture this scene.

Julianna, Bryan and our guest were yacking it up tonight int he kitchen.

There was a giant storm today. The rain came down in sheets.

After the storm, the forest across the street was a lustrous green.

In Japan, my host mother served me the best drink I ever tasted, it was like toasted milk. I asked her what it was. Green tea, with milk. I add lots of sugar.

We have three cats. I like one of them, and he never visits me.

The cats like to climb aroudn in my drawers. One is settled down for the night right now.

I live just down the street from a forest. The weather is beauty.
